Park in the dark

We invite you to a world in which you can learn to use your senses in new and unexpected ways.  You will enter, blindfolded, into a room, placed in the park, and you will have to complete some simple tasks under the guidance of a blind person.  You will see it’s not easy, but will also discover your learning powers.  Don’t be scared this will be a fun opportunity to explore your senses, with the help of blind people. 

As well, you will be introduced to guide dogs, who have been trained by the amazing team of the “Eyes on four paws” association. You will also have the opportunity to see and take part in a demonstration of these dogs’ skills.

Then you can join our workshops on…peeling a cucumber, making salad, preparing a sandwich, pouring water in a glass, sewing a button, and recognizing money, blindfolded…sounds easy, doesn’t it…?

Join us on the 15th of June, 2013, Saturday, at 13:30h. in “Zaimov” park, next to the fountain, closer to Krakra Str. (see map).

Programme

13:30-15:30 – You can enter “the room” and prepare the space for guests

15:30 – 16:15 – Try to go through different obstacles, with the help of a white cane or a guide-dog (the demonstration is organized by the “Eyes on Four Paws” Foundation)

16:15-17:00 – Workshops
